Logbook entry No. 10

Today the alarm clock woke us up at 03:30 and we left for the North Cape at 04:15. We wanted to avoid the crowds of this very touristy place and arrived at 6:30. It was freezing cold, foggy, very windy and drizzling. We felt really sorry for the cyclists who were camping with their tents in all sorts of sheltered corners. We couldn't see anything at the viewpoint because of the fog. The cliffs made of slate and the water below were not visible.
When we discovered that the restaurant was already open, we found a place to stay warm. Unfortunately, the restaurant had only one option at this time, so we had to help ourselves to the extremely rich breakfast buffet (nooominoom!). A challenge that we gladly accepted :-)
