Alicante

Okay, I have to correct my first impression of Alicante a little bit. The weekend with the special festivities of a local holiday is over and so the city has become much quieter and more relaxed. The old town and the so-called 'new town' are very attractive and not so crowded anymore. Especially below the fortress, there is a small settlement that is simply beautiful and of course offers a fantastic view over the old town. The air temperature is still very pleasant in October, around 25 degrees during the day and 18 degrees at night, and the sea has an optimal bathing temperature.

So now I can imagine coming here again. Luckily, I am still allowed to stay here for a few more days. 🙂
