Whakatane 2.0 :)

So dear ones,

back in Whakatane we waited for a notification from the organizer whether our White Island tour could take place this time or not. The weather looked relatively good this time. In the evening we met David and he had done the White Island tour the day before and was super excited about it. From him we were allowed to try a Feijoa. I didn't like it that much, Daniel found it delicious. Unfortunately, the tour was canceled again the next day. So we decided to sleep in for once. Yes, you won't believe it, but it was the first time in a very long time that we didn't get up until 13:00. Luckily, we had booked an inexpensive flight over 4 volcanoes for the next day. 3 of the volcanoes are on the mainland, the fourth is White Island. On the tour, we would have walked around on it and so we saw it from above. After the tour was canceled, we were afraid that our flight would also be canceled. But we were very lucky and the pilot said we had caught very good weather. We could see everything very clearly except for a short period of clouds. Our pilot told us a lot and showed us a lot. We were on the road for over 1.5 hours. The first time in a small propeller plane. It was very exciting and I would do it again anytime. After the incredible flight, it wasn't that bad that we couldn't do the tour on the volcano, after all we saw it from above.
