Week 16 - Ebro Delta

At the beginning of the week, I went hiking on a section of the Vía Verde. These are old railway tracks that have been converted into hiking and cycling trails. They can be found throughout Spain. I happened to be on a section right by the sea, so I hiked with a beautiful view. There are also tunnels, but there are also hiking trails over the mountain.

After that, I went to the Ebro Delta for 4 nights. There is a national park and many hiking and biking trails. I actually unpacked my bike twice. It was even a bit fun ;-)

During a tour, I knew there was a flamingo spot along the way. However, I assumed that there was no flamingo season in Spain. Fortunately, I was mistaken and was able to admire some flamingos with a great panorama. I just had to do without the red color of the flamingos :-)

Next week is my last week in Spain. I have had so many wonderful experiences here, but I am also looking forward to what is to come :-)
