Day 12. San Miniato

Good morning 🌞, now we continue towards Florence, right? As we learned during breakfast 🍳, our friends took the day off just for us and want to show us around. Our destination today is San Miniato.

Due to its close connection and importance to the German Empire, it was given the epithet 'al tedesco'. The trade routes between Florence and Pisa were monitored from the castle.

Afterwards, we will return to Empoli in the afternoon.

During dinner, various topics are discussed. It quickly becomes clear that we will go to Florence tomorrow, as Francesca and Duccio are going to the sea on Friday, which is a holiday (Republic Day). Additionally, the schedule for Sunday has already been planned 😁.

So after our trip to Florence, we will return to Empoli.
