Heyoo,

yesterday our alarm went off at half past seven so that we could leave the campsite at 9 o'clock on time. So we had breakfast and packed our things and set off.

First, we went to the 'Twelve Apostles' because a nice lady told us a few days ago that it's better to go there in the morning because it's not crowded yet. And we really had a great view, which was of course also due to the weather, because the sun finally shone again 🌞 and so much that Mareike and I got a little sunburned again. 🤦🏼‍♀️ By the way, the Twelve Apostles are the landmark of the Great Ocean Road and twelve rocks that stand in the sea, really beautiful to look at.

Afterwards, we went to 'Loch Ard Gorge', another tourist attraction on the Great Ocean Road. Two really big rocks form a beautiful bay with crystal clear water. In one of the rocks there was a stalactite cave which Mareike and I climbed into with other tourists.

In between, we stopped at a lookout point from time to time and admired the view of the cliffs and the sea. 🌊

For lunch, we went to Port Campbell and had burgers there. Afterwards, we sat by the water in the sunshine with an ice cream and enjoyed the weather. 🌤 Before we left Port Campbell, we went to the little village shop and got our dinner and breakfast. 🥖🍝

In the early afternoon, we visited two more tourist attractions. First, we went to 'the Grotto'. The Grotto is a limestone rock that forms a bridge. When you stand under the bridge, you can look out onto a ledge that looks like a pool and behind it the turquoise sea water. Then we went to 'London Bridge', as the name suggests, a limestone bridge in the middle of the sea.

Then we went to our campsite, which was a 25-minute walk from a waterfall. So we parked our cars, changed clothes again, because it's cooler in the national park than usual, and then went to the waterfall. When we arrived there, we saw a waterfall about 25 meters high, which was really beautiful, but its water was very cold. Tim decided to go swimming in the pool of the waterfall, we girls watched it from outside.
Back at the campsite, we cooked dinner again. Afterwards, we turned Bobby into a seating area so that we didn't have to play cards outside in the 'cold'. We played Phase 10 and Skipbo again and enjoyed our wine. 🍷

Greetings from Australia! 🇦🇺
