Twizel-Mount Cook-Lake Pukaki-Lake Tekapo-Lake Wanaka

We have had 3 lakes on our program today. We started with Mount Cook. The road to Mount Cook is one of the most beautiful roads I have ever driven on, with the light blue Lake Pukaki and the beautiful road and the mountains around it, and at the end of the road, the beautiful Mount Cook, simply a dream. Although the weather was not good in the morning, it became better and better on the way to Mount Cook and when we arrived there, it was the best weather. Next, we continued to Lake Tekapo next to Lake Pukaki with the famous church right by the lake. It was also very beautiful and we found a good time point without too many tourists. Now it was time to drive again, about 300km from Lake Wanaka through beautiful passes and landscapes. After almost 3 hours, we arrived at Lake Wanaka and quickly started looking for a camping site after visiting the Wanaka Tree, which was submerged in the water due to bad weather. We then found a suitable camping site where we could rest a bit from this long day and plan for the next.
