Melbourne

I spent about a week in Melbourne. I explored the city, spent a lot of time in the library, and ate a lot of good food... The first few days I stayed in a hostel in the Fitzroy district (a beautiful alternative neighborhood with many small shops, restaurants, and bars - reminded me a lot of Leipzig-Connewitz or Berlin-Kreuzberg), then moved to St. Kilda in the south of Melbourne because of the high price.

My friend Nadja, whom I met in Darwin, was also in Melbourne that week, so I met her and her friend Michaela a few times.
