Taupo - Day 3, Doing Nothing

After our power day yesterday, we took it easy today and took a day off on our vacation;)

Although we had to check out at 10 and move to another hostel for our last night because we could only book two nights and our first hostel was fully booked due to a concert on Saturday, we spent the time between checking out and checking in with some shopping.

In the afternoon, we walked to the lake and laid down on the beach with our Kindles, spending the whole afternoon reading and eating fruits in the shade.

After the sun disappeared behind a cloud, we went for a fresh shower and had Asian food and ice cream for dinner, ending the evening with a beer and card games.
