This morning we visit a moose farm, which is not far from our cottage. The Cape Wild Wildlife Park is a family-run moose park, run by owner Thomas Dahlqvist, who also rents out our beautiful cottage. In addition to moose, we can also feed reindeer. An impressive experience to feel and feed the moose up close. In Sweden, the moose is also called the 'King of the Forest'. Some key data: Body length: up to 350cm Shoulder height: up to 235 cm Antler weight: up to 18 kg Total weight: up to 800 kg Energy requirements: 15 to 35 kg of food per day Speed: over 50 km/h in sprint over 30 km/h in long distance In the early evening, we are allowed to admire beautiful Northern Lights in front of our cottage, a dream.
