Today I plan to visit a laundromat and wash my clothes. Not far from our hotel, I find one and go in curiously. A long row of washing machines and a long row of dryers across from them. It's easy to use, a great thing! Finally, clean laundry on board 😇
I say goodbye to my daughter, she's going back home, and I'm heading north. After researching on the internet, it seems to me that the route through Sweden is easier now, due to the Corona regulations. Now I will probably encounter some borders 🙊 For this reason, I am now heading towards Travemünde. From there, there should be a ferry to Malmö, Sweden. It takes nine hours. My plan is to drive along the Swedish west coast.
In a village 20 km before Lübeck, I am driving on the left side on the pedestrian path, on the right side there is also a lady riding her bike parallel to me, she seems to be a few years older than me. She calls over and asks where I come from.. and is amazed when I shout back: 'From Munich'. She asks where I would sleep. When I tell her that I don't know yet, she is surprised. I boldly ask if I can set up my tent in her garden. She replies: 'Yes, of course, gladly'. She turns her bike in the other direction and invites me to follow her. Soon we are on a large estate with a neatly mowed lawn adjacent to it. Here I can set up my tent wherever I want. And she also shows me a water tap. This is another gift from God, as I can sleep in tomorrow. I am very grateful!
