Living with an Indian family.

In the morning it was very cold, I jumped around with my breakfast and searched for the sun. Then we went to the Figure 8 Pools, which are shaped like an eight. We realized that we didn't have enough time to drop off Maggie at her couchsurfing host at 1 PM. We could extend the car until 5 PM for free, problem solved. We just dropped her off in the evening and returned the car the next day.

Then we went to a suburb of Sydney for a barbecue. However, the smoke was so bad that it wasn't enjoyable anymore. Ashes everywhere on the table, bench, and grill. We spent some time in the shopping center to escape the smoke, dropped off Maggie, and went to our Airbnb with an Indian family.

The next day we returned the car at 9 AM and went straight to the city. We walked across the Harbour Bridge, to the Opera House, Mrs. Macquarie's Chair, a viewpoint, and the Botanic Gardens. We were exhausted and then went home in the evening.

The following day, I was once again thinking about which path to pursue. Working in Sydney or maybe Canberra? Or Melbourne? Or just going back to Asia before returning home? First, distract myself: the Indian family took us to a temple in the evening, where there was free food for people of all religions on a daily basis. I think that's great! And the temple reminded me again of how fascinated I am by Asia. Australia is beautiful too, but it is as developed as Europe. It's simple, you know these standards and everything. Asia is completely different, a completely different culture, different ways of thinking, different behavior. And that's exactly what makes Asia more interesting in my opinion!

The next day, I researched about Indonesia. I came to the conclusion that it doesn't really make sense for me to spend a month possibly looking for work in Australia. Think about what you could do in a month. For example, travel to many parts of Indonesia.

So I spent the next few days in the library. There was dense smoke outside. Breathing was difficult, and I started to get a headache. Even in the library, you could still taste the smoke. I actually booked the flight to Indonesia. This means the chapter of Australia will soon be over. The date of the flight is still a surprise, it has to stay exciting :).
