Half time, my loves! ☀️

I've been on the road for 6 weeks now, with 6 more weeks ahead of me. One of them will be spent in Australia. 😊💛

05/02/2018: On Monday morning, I met up with a couple from Hamburg who I met last week while diving on the boat tour in Cairns. The two of them are traveling by car and we coincidentally ran into each other again on the bus on Magnetic Island. That's where the idea came up to meet again in Airlie Beach. We went for a swim together before I headed to the harbor.

We set out to sea with this boat around noon. Unfortunately, the weather was terrible, so we had to take many detours until we reached the bay where we wanted to spend the night. Unfortunately, this also resulted in the cancellation of the first snorkeling trip. But we had such a great boat with so many funny and interesting young people that it wasn't a big deal. The food was delicious because our captain is also a chef. We were really spoiled!! 😍

I love being on the water so much. I don't know why I didn't realize this much earlier! The view, the wind, the salt on the skin - I'm going to miss all of it so much! Can't I do my traineeship on a ship? 😄

06/02/2018: The second day was simply indescribable. We were woken up early in the morning and after brushing our teeth on the deck while watching the sunrise, we headed to Whitsunday Island where we spent our morning. There was even a double rainbow at 6:30 in the morning!! 😍

Since the weather was very bad the day before, we were pretty much the only ones on the island. Only in the afternoon did other tourists manage to get ashore. Let me show you a few photos of this indescribably beautiful place:

I met these four girls during the day and quickly took them into my heart. 😊

In the afternoon, we finally went snorkeling and in the evening we had the most beautiful sunset. ☀️

On Wednesday, I'm heading back to Airlie Beach where I'll be spending the next two days before flying south to Melbourne! 🇦🇺😊
