The last day in Tokyo with sunshine and 29°C. What do you do on a day like this? Some more sightseeing and spend the last yen! So we went to the Meiji Shrine, which is dedicated to the very popular Meiji Emperor and his wife. It is located in a small forest and also has a small adjoining garden. After writing some wishes at the shrine and paying our respects, we walked around in the shade. On the way to the next train, we ended up at Harajuku Station and got caught up in the shopping frenzy around it. Afterwards, we refreshed ourselves with delicious pancakes and then ended up in the Super Fan Shop of the Rugby World Cup when we were wandering around Shinjuku Station. Now we pack everything into our backpacks and don't know if we can still carry them!? Well, tomorrow we're going to Narita to the Airport Hotel, which promises a swimming pool, jacuzzi and sauna according to the homepage. So maybe a little relaxation before the long flight home on Friday.
