Hello everyone,
Unfortunately, I'm alone again now - I dropped Sophia off at the airport in Lisbon today and then headed further north. However, I only need one overnight stay because I have booked a 5-day surf camp and it starts on Sunday. I spent this one night in the Serra de Montejunto. A hill north of Lisbon, which is also signposted as a park and includes some beautiful hikes.
The campsite was very quiet and in the middle of a pine forest.
Directly from the entrance to the square there was a short loop of 2.5 km, which I then took as an evening walk.
The view from the "summit" (it was just a hill without any insight into exactly where the highest point was) was really great and I could see both the sea and a good distance inland.
Then I went to bed and the next day I slept in and then slowly headed back towards the beach. No surf camp can take place without water.
I was a little nervous but I also really wanted to meet new people and, above all, learn a new sport.
Stay tuned to see what my first waves looked like.
