We had a slightly mixed night tonight. Our Maxi Maus must have caught a cold while bathing yesterday. She has croup and has trouble sleeping because of the coughing. Keeping the window open, homeopathy medicine, and essential oils help to relieve her discomfort.
After breakfast, we drive to Hillside Family Practice for Michi's doctor's appointment. Everyone here is extremely nice, and we don't have to wait long. Both ears are infected, and Michi is prescribed ear drops. We should have her ears checked again before the return flight.
We go shopping, to the pharmacy, and treat ourselves to a snack at Pizza Hut for lunch. We drive back to Frenchman Bay and visit the Natural Bridge and The Gap lookout points in Torndirrup National Park.
Shortly after 2pm, we head towards William Bay National Park. All 3 kids take a nap. We refuel in Denmark and treat ourselves to an ice cream. Originally, we wanted to camp at Parry Beach, but unfortunately, we have to turn around at the entrance. The campground is only suitable for vehicles up to 2.7 meters in height. Our Maui is 3.4 meters tall.
So we head straight to Greens Pool and Elephant Rocks. We stroll along the beach and climb the rock formations. We hike from Greens Pool to Elephant Rocks. Unfortunately, the sun is not cooperating, so the colors don't stand out as much.
At around 5pm, we drive to the Ayr Sailean campground. We found it using our TomTom. It is conveniently located on the way to our destination tomorrow, the Valley of Giants. This place turns out to be a stroke of luck: a beautifully situated sheep farm, pitches in the green, simple facilities but everything you need (even Wifi) for only 20 AUD without electricity.
We take a walk around the area and cook steak with wedges.
