After a very good breakfast and a warm farewell from Wendy and Pete, we drove to Taupo at Lake Taupo today. Since we made good progress, we still had time to visit the "Craters of the Moon" national park. Highly recommended! It actually looks like the Mehlinger Heide, but with the difference that hot steam comes out of the ground and deep craters here and it hisses and bubbles everywhere.
Afterwards, we continued to our new accommodation "The Flying Trout", where we moved into the most beautiful suite, the "Kiwi Suite", with a wonderful view of the lake. Simply magnificent 👍😀.

WOW, die Landschaft ist SO SCHÖN! Auch die Landschaft, die ihr in Südafrika fotografiert habt, war umwerfend. Das muss herrlich sein, mitten drin zu stehen. Könnt ihr irgendwann mal einen kurzen Augenblick innehalten und für mich mitgenießen? :-)Stephan
