They go for walks, shop, occasionally cycle or hike up the mountain and they go out for a fancy meal.
We definitely went hiking and once again we climbed an unknown peak. Even if you don't immediately see it that way, it actually had a little to do with climbing. We started sweating. My special moment that day was the first wild flower on the side of the path... also the only one. Paul shared our last water with him. Well, we didn't have to do without much because we followed our UBER driver's recommendation and treated ourselves to delicious fish and steamed cactus leaves (!).
On the way back we were redirected by Odette and - instead of going home - we went to play billiards with her colleagues. Dietmar also came briefly later. But it's really stupid that I can't communicate at all. I find it surprising that relatively few young people speak English. No matter, we moved further into the nightlife, which focuses more on food and drink. I thought that on every corner where loud music was played (and there are a lot of them), there would also be spontaneous dancing; Salsa, merengue, bachata, but that's not the case. Maybe it's the desert or the "Nordic" temperament. I have no idea - there was nothing more to offer the eyes or the feet, but my day was also extremely varied. When I went home, I was happy to finally be able to take a shower and then jump into bed. At night the temperatures are similar to your midday temperatures, so I can sleep well.
