Now we have finally reached the 30 degrees mark on the thermometer here in Northern Europe. In shorts and a t-shirt, we took a bike ride through the city. Our first destination was the Chokladfabriken. A small shop that offers homemade chocolates, small cakes, and good coffee. We picked out some delicacies and enjoyed some quality time together. Back on the saddle, we rode along a bit of the Brunnsviken lake before heading back to the paved streets. Here we discovered some interesting buildings that were new to us, such as the Gustav Wasa Church and the old Royal Post Office. After a few kilometers, we deserved a dinner. Near the Konserthuset, the Stockholm Concert Hall, we had delicious Japanese food at Tokyo Ramen. Then we passed by the Parliament building and the Royal Palace on our bikes, heading towards the smallest statue in Stockholm located in Gamla Stan, and then back to the ship.
