Gemona del Friuli

Today we arrived in this beautiful corner of Italy and spring is already here. The magnolias and almond trees are already blooming and the sun is shining. We are going on a little bike tour, visiting the castle, but only from the outside because there is construction work going on. Afterwards, we will visit the beautiful Santa Maria Assunta Cathedral with its impressive rose window and a huge Christopherus, the patron saint of all travelers. Then we will go to a bistro where we will strengthen ourselves with panini and bruschetta. Now we are doing homework and planning tomorrow's journey to Venice.
