In the evening a man with a dog comes and explains in pretty good German that he thinks it's great that we find Brittany so beautiful. On request, he teaches me a few scraps of Breton, he lives on the slope above our pitch and a great conversation develops. He is a fan of classical music, has been to Munich and Berlin, and when I pull out the map, he enthusiastically paints in it what we absolutely must see. He is an amateur cook, shows great pictures on his phone of his cooking skills, his home. He really gets carried away. Here the northwestern part of Brittany is more original, less touristy, but unfortunately many houses here have turned into pure summer houses. In winter they have 1,500 inhabitants, in summer 6,000.
He says goodbye with 100 new tips and adds "maybe we'll see each other again sometime"
