This morning I took the Shinkansen from Kyoto to Osaka again. I immediately went to Osaka Castle, one of the main attractions of the city. The main building has been turned into a museum, where, among other things, old samurai armors are exhibited.
Afterwards, I went on a small shopping tour in the center of Osaka. I wasn't very successful, but the trip was worth it just because of the sight of the Ferris wheel integrated into the shopping center.
In the evening, I walked around the lively Dotonbori district. The atmosphere is insane! Bright neon signs everywhere, various scents from food stalls, and lots of people. By the way, the neon sign with the sprinter in one of the photos has become the symbol of Osaka.
It was time again to eat something really Japanese. I treated myself to 5 pieces of Takoyaki, a warm dish from Kansai (see picture). If you want to know more, google it. I only found out afterwards what was in there;D It was definitely delicious.
