After another peaceful night on the cliffs of Legzira, we wake up in the morning and around the cabin sleep 5 young stray dogs, who are not bothered by our breakfast and peacefully watch us.
We make our way to the paragliding spot, which is above a beautiful beach north of Mirleft. We buy delicious fruits and vegetables from the roadside and discover a great bakery with tasty pastries and especially dark bread, which is hard to find here, and we indulge ourselves.
Unlike the prices in supermarkets (and since this year also gasoline and diesel), baked goods are really cheap here.
The paragliding spot is located on top of the mountain and is also a parking lot, restaurant, and mini-hotel complex, and the best part...it has a beautiful infinity pool right behind the take-off area. So, lying by the pool, you can relax and observe the whole scene...truly amazing, especially with pleasant temperatures around 26 degrees, while in some parts of the country like Marrakech it is currently over 40 degrees.
Coincidentally, we seem to have good timing because the temperatures there are supposed to drop back to around 28 degrees in the near future, and we don't really want to endure that before.
We take advantage of the rare opportunity to do laundry, Basti goes paragliding, and Mia is incredibly excited about the great pool...it's really enjoyable here.
A turtle comes by and we see threateningly large beetles or insects - when I ask what it is or if it's 'dangerous', I am misunderstood because I am emphatically told that I CANNOT eat it 🤣.
In the evening, we have the first pizza on Moroccan soil at a nice restaurant, a nice change from the tagine.
This place is definitely number 1 on my list of "paragliding spectator spots" so far 🥳.
