Today is the day to say goodbye to the Norwegian Sun. After a final breakfast, we grab our two suitcases and make our way to Deck 3 to disembark the ship.
We could also have the crew bring our suitcases to the pier. But that requires another organizational process, and we know how that looks with Norwegian – no, thank you! We prefer to do it ourselves and know where our things ultimately are.
Oh yes, during our last walk on deck, we spot two giant yachts. One is named IJE and belongs to James Packer, an Australian entrepreneur and multi-billionaire. On one hand, we are glad it’s not raining anymore because the car rental Hertz is about 2 km away, and we don’t want to take a taxi, especially since EVERYONE wants to leave the pier by taxi now. Since we cannot use the exit for the others as
