On my last day in Copenhagen, we slept in. When we woke up, we had a hasty breakfast and rushed into the city. There, we started a running tour with a guide through the metropolis. We passed numerous fascinating buildings, all of which were rebuilt multiple times due to frequent fires in the port city. Our guide told us about the founding, the royal family, the Calsbergs, and much more. We ran through the city for about three hours until we found a park to sit down and rest, ending the tour.
In the afternoon, we wanted to visit the free city of Christiania on Christians Havn Island. We strolled along the colorful paths, passed busy pubs, and watched a small soccer game. In the center of the neighborhood, shady characters sold cannabis on the streets among various other vendors. However, unlike the rest of Copenhagen, you couldn't find any addicts here, as the commune maintains a zero-tolerance attitude towards harder drugs. We sat by a lake, where we enjoyed a sandwich together, and then returned to the dormitory.
Once we arrived at the apartment, I took a nap and woke up after a while, hearing music. I got ready and followed the sound. In one of the floors, I found the source at a party. I entered and was invited by the host to have a beer. I quickly recognized my companions among the party guests and talked to some students. When midnight had passed for a while, I went upstairs with Soso (my host in Copenhagen) to pack my things. I said goodbye and thanked her warmly for the accommodation. Then I had another beer with her classmate Marvin and walked to catch my train, which will take me to Amsterdam. Now I'm sitting here and writing.
