Once across Germany, and that on what the media is calling the "Super Traffic Jam Weekend". We didn't notice much of it, apparently almost everyone wants to go south or to the other end of the earth. After a good 8 hours drive, we set up camp at a campsite near the "Stover Strand" on the Elbe, about 30 km as the crow flies from Hamburg. It's quite idyllic here, chickens roam between the tents and occasionally a squirrel can be seen. Being well cooked at 32 degrees, we are not capable of any great deeds and let the evening end comfortably. Setting up the camp turns out to be more complicated than expected, as first countless boxes and bags need to be unloaded and rearranged before one can "live". Could it be that we have taken too much stuff? Probably. But we will get used to it.
