As feared, all flights were canceled yesterday :(

But the rain didn't stop me from hiking to the glacier at least. First, I crossed the glacier river, then through the rainforest, and finally through a beautiful valley right up to the glacier. Even though it rained the whole way, it was beautiful.

In the evening, there was a beach party, which turned into more of a costume party, but it was very funny. Right now, I'm on my way to Wanaka, where luckily I can stay for two nights and the weather forecasts for the next week are getting better and better. So maybe I still have a little luck after all :)
