Today leaving Portugal and driving to Spain/Andalusia/Seville; although only about 290km, it was terribly boring and exhausting.
Since Porto, I have been suffering from a sore throat and a runny nose - it's not funny to sneeze into the closed visor of the helmet while driving. After 20 minutes, the worst was over🙄!
For a review of Portugal, let me just say this: the north and the mountains inland, the Douro Valley, the Serra Estrella are great - except that it rains heavily for a short time every day - Lisbon is great, Porto so-so; the closer you get to the Algavre, the more touristy it gets. The days are very warm but not hot and the nights are really cool, the wind is strong - oh yes, the Atlantic!
I don't have much to say about Seville. A three-quarter tour with a hop on-hop off bus is enough and I'm lying in the hotel bed; late in the evening, I manage with difficulty a few tapas in a nearby pub!
