US Open of Surfing 2019

After enjoying a delicious egg benedict for breakfast 😋, we once again changed hotels 🙈😂 and headed to the cool Pacific City Shopping Center in Huntington Beach. After indulging in many burgers, burritos, and other junk food, we were excited to have some traditional Swiss dishes like Härdöpfelstock. The beach was amazing today. It was the first day of the US Open of Surfing, and it was so much fun. BMX bikes (do they still call them that these days 🤔) were soaring through the air, and the winner even did a backflip with his bike 😳. We saw some real surf pros out in the huge waves, and I had a blast riding the waves myself.

In the evening, we enjoyed the campfire atmosphere late into the night. And let's not forget Karin's big surfing injury 🥴🤪! Congratulations to Sabrina and Erich on their 13th wedding anniversary ❤️❤️❤️. Manolo and Karin
