Water market and leaving Bangkok.

29.09.2018:

It's my birthday. The Chinese girl from my room and I got up at 7 o'clock. She didn't want to at first, but then she did after two minutes. We got a noodle soup for breakfast at the nearby market. After waiting for a while, bus 79 arrived. There were so many delicious things at the first water market, but we were already full. We took a larger boat for 2.50 € and visited a total of three water markets. There was also an American woman on the boat, with whom we had a longer conversation about the world. In the canal, we also saw two crocodiles. There was also a woman on the boat who was responsible for entertainment. She spoke very loudly, some people covered their ears. Besides, most of it was not understandable.

After visiting the three different water markets with the help of the boat, we took the bus back together with the American woman. We grabbed our things at the hostel and went to the meeting point with the girls. We took the bus to the main train station. Tickets for third class to Ayutthaya (70 km north of Bangkok) were available for 40 cents. Disadvantage: no air conditioning, only fans. But it was a funny ride. We noticed during the ride that my oranges are actually limes. So we just ate a few of them. When we arrived in Ayutthaya, we had a 2.3 km walk with our luggage ahead of us. We encountered barking dogs. Turn around? - No! Pass slowly with enough distance and stay cool.

No one at the hostel. We rang the bell and waited. After a few minutes, someone finally appeared. No change. But somehow it worked. Dinner at a small restaurant. Cheap and really delicious. The owners entertained us with live music. Cheers to this special day. And a few rounds of UNO. The shower was actually the best thing about the day.
