As Heide and Alice drive back to Leipzig, I continue my journey. The weather is supposed to be great at the Baltic Sea. Unfortunately, it's also the weekend, so I'm curious to see how easy it will be to find a place to stay overnight. Alice recommends a parking lot right on the beach in Kägsdorf, where overnight stays are tolerated. But it seems that the place has become popular. When I arrive at 9 p.m., the security guard has already closed the barrier for wild campers... But I find another place where I am relatively close to the sea and there are other campers around me. I missed the sunset, but I still enjoy the red glow on the horizon, the starry sky getting brighter, the sound of the sea, and the fresh Baltic Sea air.
The next day, I head back to the parking lot from yesterday. I can park there all day for 7.50 euros. I pack my picnic, my swimming gear, and my yoga book and spend almost the whole day at the beach...
