Westerland on Sylt

This morning we can (for our standards) sleep in. Sometimes I feel like the real challenge lies in the little things, like zipping up a tent. The bed was very comfortable. The tents are also "okay". Most of them anyway. In bright sunshine we take the train to Westerland to have breakfast at Extrablatt. The rich buffet made everyone full. Unfortunately our birthday child is not there. Without further ado, he is called and serenaded. The cake that was previously organized (by the parents of the birthday child) tasted delicious. Thank you for that! Students are allowed to move freely in the city for two hours. The room key from the Leipzig hostel, which a student forgot to hand in, is taken to the post office by the students themselves. When asked for the specified sender they simply replied: “We forgot him”. As a group task, the students were asked to take photos of themselves with objects, food and drink in a given color in their free time. Our color is orange (see pictures). It's straight to the beach.
