What's worse than headwind?

Headwind with rain!

After a day off, we continued our journey north today in light rain. Today's route also included a longer ride on the beach. The beach here is approximately 20 km accessible by car.... , also for cyclists, but today the route was too soft, with too little car traffic, so we decided to ride through the villages instead.

Our equipment proved itself, even in the rain, cycling is fun. Today we cycled another 70 km, almost 90 km to go and we'll have completed the first thousand kilometers. 

The sun came out in the evening, just in time to admire one of the most beautiful beaches in DK with its small fishing boats. There is no harbor, the fishing boats are pulled onto the beach by winches. If you'd like, you can be informed by email when the boats arrive and then buy fresh fish directly from the ship.

Tomorrow we want to reach Skagen, the northernmost point of Denmark.
