Hello everyone, on my way to the southern peninsula near Christchurch, I made a stop in the south of Christchurch to go for a hike. There is a large nature park where locals also hike, walk, and bike. The parking lot for the track seemed very suspicious to me, and after seeing shattered glass on the first surface, I retreated and parked in the nearby residential area.
The path to the summit was very beautiful and was lined with grass swaying in the wind.
Sometimes the track was not very visible, but with a little patience, the hiker always finds a way up.
Almost at the top, there was also a great view of the bays in front of Lyttelton.
At the summit, it was extremely windy. So I unpacked my jacket and didn't stay on the summit for long.
On the Farmers Track, I then headed back to the car. Here I saw a few sheep.
Overall, the tour was really nice, and I really enjoyed the hike. After the hike, I continued to my next campsite in Okains Bay. More on that in the next post. Yours, Britta
