Since the route wasn't that long, we allowed ourselves to sleep a bit longer. We tried to get up at 7, but the rain made us wait a bit before we could break down the tent.
After dismantling, I heated up some milk to warm up or soften the muesli. It gives a wonderfully warm belly. We really needed that today in the cold.
The route itself was not a big challenge. The weather and the cold, on the other hand, were. Although I'm used to cycling in cold and rain, it was a bit chilly without the climbs.
Shortly after the ascent at Pass Lueg, we treated ourselves to a coffee and something sweet.
A bit later, we found a windless spot with short sunny intervals where we had lunch. A soup and fresh bread that we bought in the village beforehand. It takes very little to be happy.
Already at half past two, we arrived at Camping Kastenhof in St. Johann and, although not paid yet, could look for a place. Beautifully next to a playground and a small wooden hut, we could set up our tent.
Since we suspected rain again, we set off to get our dinner. Hörnli and G'hacktes with applesauce was planned. And that's exactly what we cooked.
We were allowed to cook in the wooden hut. Well, I didn't ask for permission, but we still did it. And the food was wonderful. The wine too.
The shower was very nice and hot. For one euro. And we could shower for a wonderfully long time.
Now we enjoy the evening in the hut until it gets dark.
