10/10/2015 Gibb River Road, Moonshine Gorge

We arrived at Moonshine Gorge during midday sun.. maybe not the smartest move, as it was way too hot! Nevertheless, we went hiking and managed to complete the 3 km trail through rocks and trees. Along the way, there were two swimming stops that were simply breathtaking. Sweating profusely, we returned to the campsite to pick up our car!

We were really worried that it would be super expensive to fix our car... Mike quickly checked the car and everything looked great. Good job! The mechanic, David, was also really nice and told us that he's currently traveling too and occasionally works (he must be at least 65 years old). After getting everything sorted, we were $210 lighter... oh well, what can you do. It was unnecessary but we couldn't change it. Since the day dragged on, we were forced to stay here for another night. When we paid the bill for the car at the reception, the woman forgot to charge us for the night, so we camped for free! =)
