i love this bar

On Wednesday, it was time to move. We left the RV Park at Mainstation Casino and approached the new Strip, which was also our drop-off point for the car. For our last two nights, we had booked two rooms at Super 8 Koval Drive. Believe it or not, it was cheaper than some campgrounds and the rooms were great. I had a wheelchair-accessible room, which I have rarely found in Germany. So the last two days were bearable. From here, we could easily walk to the Strip and it was not far to Flamingo, Bellagio, Caesars Palace, Palazzo, or Venetian. The Hard Rock Casino or Planet Hollywood were also within reach. Perfect.

So we set off in the evening. The first destination were the water show at the Bellagio. They run every 15 minutes and were really beautiful. Not as grand as what we experienced in Dubai, but still nice, especially the backdrop of the Bellagio. Otherwise, it is unusual how you get around on the Strip on foot. You rarely cross the streets using pedestrian crossings. Most of the time, you use bridges or even walk through buildings from one side to the other, and often the paths lead you right through the casinos. We wanted to watch the pirate show at Treasure Island, but later found out that it had been discontinued since November 2013. When we were here for the first time, I had the best ice cream in the world at Harrah's. On the 2nd floor at the PAN ICE stand. Unfortunately, it's no longer there, and now there's a Ben & Jerry's. Also delicious, but that's not what I was looking forward to today. So we went across the street to Toby Keith - I love this bar. A themed bar dedicated to one of the most popular country stars in the United States. We even had the honor of seeing him once in Germany, where we were unfortunately quite disappointed with his lack of motivation. But here in the bar, it was nice. Although it was quite empty, the crowd was gathering downstairs at the piano bar, but still nice. Mark MacKay was the singer tonight, and he was really good. Practically a concert without admission, but with expensive drinks. My margarita, which I started to really like, ended up costing me 20 dollars. Well, it was served in a pickle jar with a capacity of about 1 liter, and it had its effect, but 20 dollars was quite steep, and who needs that much? Anyway, I had enough and was glad to be back in my room... Burp.. good night :-)
