After a short walk down to the village of Bevagna and marveling at the historic old town, we pick up our ordered top-quality olive oil from Annelie and make our way to 'CANTINA COLLECIOCCO', the wine dealer recommended to us by Annelie and George. We also put 5 liters of house wine for €12 and a fantastic fruity red wine 0.75 l for €20 in our bags.
We have removed Rome and Naples from the itinerary because it is almost impossible to park anywhere near the big cities in the heat and tourist traffic to do sightseeing.
We leave Umbria and cross the Marche region. The landscape is completely different...still very beautiful, but no longer as spectacular as a few days ago.
Tonight we can sleep on the farm with about 50 other motorhomes. Since we are a bit late, there are only places available across from the cowshed. But what can't you endure when it's 38°C in the sun outside and we just want to go in the water. However, the Adriatic Sea does not really cool down in the evening at 7 o'clock, the saltwater burns in the eyes and it feels like the water is 28°C, but it feels soooo good to be in not so cold water.
