Day 27: Tuesday 28.08.2018 Glasgow - Loch Ness

Today we started from Glasgow at 11:00 a.m. First, our route took us past Loch Lomond. There we got an ice cream cone, but it wasn't as good as our previous ones. We also admired the lake and the nature. After a short consideration of the route, we continued to Glenfinnan. There we could see the bridge (Glenfinnan Viaduct) that the Harry Potter train traveled on. However, our destination for today was Loch Ness, so we continued driving there. We found a good sleeping spot in a parking lot about 30 meters above Loch Ness with a good view of the lake. Since it had stopped raining, we could sit outside. We spent the rest of the evening eating and gazing out over the lake, hoping to spot Nessie somewhere.

Discovery of the day: English humor resembles the Loch Ness Monster in that both are famous but there is a strong suspicion that neither exists.
