Auckland - our wedding beach in Devenport

March 5th: Almost seven years ago, we took the decisive step in our lives here in New Zealand, at the beach in Devenport. All alone with our family, casually dressed in white and jeans, barefoot in the warm sand. Accompanied by two dear people who did us a great favor on this day. And a warm Registrar who made our wedding ceremony something very special. In bright sunshine and surrounded by the sound of waves.

And so it is one of the most beautiful moments of this journey for me to return to the place where I said yes to Bo. We visit 'our' wedding beach with the kids and indulge in memories. Our seven-year-old fa is particularly interested. This beach is still as beautiful, unique and special to me as it was on our wedding day. Four years ago, it was the four of us, with ma and fa. Now we stand here as a family of five with our little baby Le. A perfect moment for me. I am very grateful. And even today, I would say yes to my husband blindfolded...
