Day 5: In Nuremberg

I visit the Allianz site in Nuremberg on Hochstrasse. I am warmly welcomed by a colleague whom I have known and respected for many years, she takes great care of me. Monday is not actually a good day for such activities as mine, because it's the team days - once a week each team is supposed to meet in person, when, the team decides. This has been covered in the press - mostly on Tuesdays through Thursdays. But those who were on site, almost all of them came and made a donation. Nearly 300 € have been raised for the Tour of Hope. I am thrilled!

Afterwards, I still have time to visit the castle. I have never been there. I am positively surprised. When I am retired, I will come back with more time.

Dinner is at the Trödlerstube, a relatively small but very stylish restaurant. I ate well and plentiful.
