So, the bike has been looked after and serviced. New chain, new tire, new brake pads, bottom bracket overhauled, luggage rack, touring saddle and touring grips fitted. Test rides carried out, for the bike (technology) and not least for me (bones, muscles, buttocks). The rest of the equipment, tent, sleeping pad, etc. have been looked at and found to be good. Pepe's bike has also been checked.

The flight is booked, so the date is set. On May 14, 2023, we will fly from Munich to Dubrovnik. The exact route will only become clear during the trip - more coast and mainland, over the offshore islands, or a mixture of both.

Let's hope the weather plays along. When, how and where Pepe joins us will of course depend on the route (when will I be where) and whether we can take our bikes with us. Pepe and I are in constant contact about this.
