Cat Ba 13.11 - 16.11

The island was mainly intended as a starting point for Halong Bay.

We didn't want to share the view with 1000 people, so we traveled to this island and took a boat trip from here.

I had already booked and paid for the tour in Germany because I had read a lot about it.

We could post 100 pictures here, but no photo could capture this view.

But we also saw a lot here in the remaining two days.

We went to the highest mountain. It wasn't hiking, it was climbing. Fortunately, we had invested in good shoes in Germany.😊

When we reached the top of the rock, we thought we were in jurassic world.

We were in a former war fortress, built by the Japanese and later continued by the Vietnamese and French. There were still tunnel channels and trenches to see here.

The view was also impressive.

In addition, we visited a cave that was used as a hospital during the Vietnam War.

Our accommodation was located in a very quiet area in the National Park.

We shared the bathroom with our new friend, a little green frog.😊
