Last night we watched one of the best animated movies - "Inside Out" <33 A dream ;-)
Matching the movie, I woke up in the middle of the night with a "nightmare", started crying and woke up Jonas, who then comforted me and we could go back to sleep :D :D
In the morning, after ages, we had oatmeal, banana, and milk!!! It didn't taste as good as at home but it was still super delicious and really satisfying^^ We are really building a little bit of a "home feeling" here ;-)
After breakfast, we went to a copy shop to print and scan various paperwork. Fortunately, we were helped immediately. "Print?" We were directed to a computer where we could access our email. "Scan?" The employee simply took the document from my hand, scanned it himself, sent it to his own email, and saved it on the computer's desktop. Great :)
Without language skills, I was a little worried that we wouldn't get along well and the store was obviously quite local but hey. Everything was professionally done with just two words :D
Then we got ready to check out the climbing hall that we passed by yesterday <3
The "hall" is a covered area next to/in front of/inside a cafe with six walls and various routes. One of the walls was for lead climbing, the others were climbable with an automatic rope. I had seen that before in KiKi-Island but never really tried it.
You simply hook yourself in at the bottom and don't need anyone to belay you. The rope is attached at the top and when you want to come down, you just let yourself fall, falling a maximum of one meter and then being slowly lowered by the rope.
If my explanation is completely incomprehensible - you can probably watch it on YouTube if you're interested ^^ (Speed Climbing)
In any case, it's a bit "creepier" than normal top-rope climbing because you never know how far you'll fall. It took me a little bit of courage. Jonas found it immediately easy and great :p
The routes were actually pretty good. I feel like I write the same thing every time but I wasn't that good again. I only managed two routes and gave up on some... Jonas, on the other hand, did well :)
He diligently climbed one difficulty level higher each time and was cheered on by the staff for a particularly difficult route or the most difficult move there^^
The atmosphere was really nice :) Jonas and I were the only guests but there were four or five staff members, some of them setting routes and some of them just petting the dog ;-)
We stayed in the hall for about three hours and had a really great time. Then we went shopping again - water consumption is higher than expected in the tropical temperatures^^ - and then showered and cooked. We had the same dish as yesterday - rice and scrambled eggs with tomato <3
It's almost 6:00 p.m. now and we might watch a movie but we definitely still have some things to prepare/arrange - it's crazy how we already have "tasks" that fill the whole evening^^
The flight for the next but one country is already booked but there's still so much more to do :D :D
Planning is especially fun for me, so everything is great ;-)
Tomorrow we will probably go to the city center and if everything works out, even meet Singha there!! :) In any case, it feels right to stay here for so many days and just take a "break" from pure sightseeing and stuff. After that, we'll continue to Ho Chi Minh :)
