Buenos Aires and Patagonia

Hello

After our time travel to Buenos Aires, we extensively indulged in various empanadas and strolled through the huge city for three days.

We then continued to El Calafate in Patagonia, where the Perito Moreno Glacier is located. During several hours there, you can hear and see the glacier regularly calving, causing quite a noise as meter-sized pieces of ice crash into the water from over 50 meters. From there, we went to El Chalten, a small town that attracts hikers and mountaineers. We spent four days there hiking and relaxing in our cozy cottage. On the last day, Fitz Roy finally had the courage to show himself to us after constantly hiding behind the clouds.

Now we are in Punta Arenas and looking forward to a week on the Falkland Islands with penguins, sea lions, and lots of cold wind.
