20.11 Beginning and Farewell

My alarm clock rings, I wake up early, too early for my taste that is already used to vacation.

But of course, on my first day of work, I don't want to be late.

After having a small breakfast, I look for some suitable clothes. Bangkok is a hot city, a nice long shirt and a pair of shorts should be enough, right ?! ,,Well' I think and

At around 8:00, I leave the apartment on foot. The journey takes 10 BTS stations and then one MRT station until after 45 minutes I arrive at the FYI Centers office complex. I show my fancy card, pass through the control and take the elevator to the 5th floor, where I wait for Dirk and his brief introduction.

At 9:00, Dirk enters the office and immediately comments on my choice of clothes with a smile.

Well ... I should have worn long pants after all XD

Dirk introduces me to a few people and then hands me over to the Marketing and Sales department.

The colleagues are nice and I spend the rest of my first workday getting information about Bosch ASEAN, the products, and the company structure.

The workday ends at 17:45 and then I go to Dirk's apartment, from where Grandma, him, and I will leave for a farewell dinner, because it's Grandma's last evening in the Land of Smiles.

The food is excellent and afterwards I say goodbye to Grandma, with whom I've seen and experienced a lot in the last few days.

It was a great time and Grandma has shown how cool she can react in all kinds of situations ( I didn't expect that :P)
