Cabbage Switzerland

Hello ka

Wow! We were able to enjoy Switzerland to the fullest for 3 weeks, it was wonderful!

Time was short to see everything, do everything, sightseeing and relaxing, but we enjoyed it very much and were surprised and spoiled by many lovely people😍😍😍

Thanks to Mum, Ursi & Heinz, Nina & Family, Sabrina & Trix, Peter, Volki, Noemi & Jere, Erb Ladys, Melinda & Micha, Family Baur, Family Fischer, Uli & Sunisa, Ursula & Bruno, Muetti, Denise & Family, Bütschgi, Alice, kids in daycare and and and... we were able to stay almost the full 3 weeks for free and had a wonderful time (THANK YOU very very very much Amreins & Volki😍😍😍) we were cooked delicious meals countless times, surprised, gifted, invited and spoiled💚💛❤

CABBAGE MAK MAK!!!

I am now officially deregistered in Switzerland and have paid all my taxes😉 and have already registered as a foreign Swiss in Bangkok at the embassy. I was able to take care of all the paperwork (health insurance, pension fund, bank etc.), now only the Thai driver's license is missing😃

For Canon it was the first time he left his beloved country, he was pleasantly surprised, enjoyed it to the fullest, but is also grateful to be back home. He says: for vacations it's okay to go away, but for living: never! We are lucky that we both want to live in Thailand😉

We went on the Golden Round Trip to Pilatus, Canon enjoyed a wonderful ride on a Harley Davidson, at the Rhine Falls, on the Schwägalp (Säntis was hidden in the fog), on the Kronberg, drove through Appenzell, spent a day in the Verzasca Valley in Ticino (including jumping from the bridge, only Canon, not me😉), walked for hours through Zurich, swam in Lake Zurich, at Letten, in Verzasca, at Lake Hallwil, celebrated at Caliente, watched the World Cup, shopped in Konstanz, ate delicious (and expensive😃) Thai food, enjoyed countless bratwursts & cervelats😉, indulged in many BBQs, visited my grandmother in the nursing home (she is 98 years old and mentally sharp👌😍👌), had lunch at daycare with my "missing" lovely kids, met friends for aperitifs/dinners...and so on and so forth...

What I liked the most was seeing my people, the warm weather without sweating, the delicious food and the knowledge that I am not 'home' in Switzerland, it showed me that my decision to settle in Thailand is absolutely right.

When we arrived in Bangkok, we looked for accommodation late at night, finally had proper Thai food and a large beer, thinking about the time we spent with you😍😍😍 Canon went to his son early in the morning, then went to the embassy and off he went to the airport heading to Krabi, then took a minivan to Koh Lanta.

The new apartment is wonderful, great, quiet, beautiful, cheap. Thanks to Sita & Nick, kapunka😍😍😍 Now we are settled in and feel very comfortable. The weather changes from hour to hour on some days, but we have had many beautiful, sunny, hot days so far. Now the last tourists are also disappearing, there are still a few Chinese and a handful of Europeans...often I am only with Thais, I love it! Tomorrow I will go to language school for the first time and then, after a break of 2 months, I will start Muay Thai training again👊👊👊

In the meantime, we were in Songkhla, took care of Canon's mom in the hospital (she had knee surgery, 24 hours of hard care, there are no nurses like in our country, the people in the hospital have a bed and meals, are looked after by the doctor and that's it, the family of the patient takes care of everything and sleeps on a straw mat on the floor next to the bed in the multi-bed room, 😭😭😭). In Ao Nang, Krabi, we visited a Thai friend who married an Englishman, chokdee to Bow & Luke😍. In the temple, we prayed for good luck and took care of my visa and business.

With the business, things are progressing, not as I had hoped, Thai style😉. I will no longer write a blog, as the information regarding the business must remain absolutely "secret", there are too many envious people and spies here😭 if I have learned something, it is: keep it simple and quiet and do what you need/want to do! In this sense: if you want updates, please contact me, I will create a broadcast on WhatsApp, everything I post there is absolutely confidential and secret!

Now I hope that my friend in Switzerland can sell my belongings, THANK YOU again😍😍😍, that my goddaughter and my godson are still developing so well😍😍😍, that you are all well and that you will visit us soon and that you can all enjoy the summer and August 1st!
