IVEY Business School

Soooo yesterday was the first orientation day for the new university and I have to say: you can tell that the school is pretty expensive for regular students :D

It is an incredibly beautiful and modern building. Disgusting cafeteria coffee? It doesn't exist here! The Ivey campus has its own Starbucks :D As a welcome gift there is your own Ivey bottle and your own Ivey hat as you can see in the pictures :) But as in every semester abroad, the university is of course not the most important part - what your fellow students do That of course and so far I can say: man, I was lucky! No matter whether it was a lecture, a break or sharing pitches in the Irish pub, there was always atmosphere and fun and that gives me great hopes for the next few months. The first trips are being planned, the first photos together have been taken, now everything just has to come true :)

In general, we had a successful first day at university, and today we're starting our second day. Since I'm used to a completely different learning style as a student in Cologne, I'm curious to see how it works here at Ivey. Safe to say: personal growth is a basic requirement for good grades. ;)
