Sa Pa+ Night Train

After falling into bed totally exhausted yesterday and sleeping until 9:30, we got up this morning more or less refreshed at 8 and enjoyed our all-you-can-eat breakfast (of course we're making the most of it ✌🏾😎). Then we packed our bags - back to Hanoi. When we were done packing and checking out, we made our way to Cat Cat village. Easy 3 km, no problem for us (especially after yesterday's march), it was all downhill 🤙🏾. However, despite the short distance, the path was a bit difficult because there were no proper roads, just dirt 🤦🏽‍♀😂. But we made it and it looks really beautiful there with the waterfalls and the houses (nicely arranged by Vietnamese standards). But because yesterday's hike still got to us a bit, we didn't want to walk back (to our defense, it was also drizzling 😂). So we tried our luck with negotiating and wanted to get a good price for a taxi scooter. Well, we tried. Unfortunately, our negotiations failed and we paid the full price. But it was worth a try, riding on a scooter together 🏍. We also had helmets, of course. Unfortunately, Lara's helmet was way too big and Jasna's helmet too, but hey, the bun was definitely safe 🤷🏽‍♀😂). After that, we had some food and went back to the hostel to watch some Netflix. Since the weather wasn't great anyway, it was a good option 🤓. At 5:30 p.m., our shuttle bus arrived at the train station. As a goodbye, the hotel even gave us a lunch package, so sweet 🥰. When we arrived at the train station, we grabbed a pizza and waited for the train. We celebrated a bit because we had the bottom two beds on the train 👏🏽🎉🎊. Now we just hope that tonight will be a bit quieter and less shaky.
