Beautiful, more beautiful, Toronto

For the past 12 days, we have been in the beautiful city of Toronto. We were lucky to live in a very big and almost perfect apartment.

Since we had a lot of time, we could explore the city of Toronto without any stress.

Since we planned our trip last year, we imagined the city to be beautiful, but what we found exceeded all expectations - beautiful parks everywhere, clean streets, cute shops, and a stunning university. But it was also the amazing and incredibly warm-hearted residents who made our stay even more enjoyable.

As typical village kids, we are used to seeing familiar faces often, and even in Toronto, we met some people more than once. This made us feel at home.

During our stay, we visited all the tourist attractions, such as High Park, China Town, CN Tower, and Dundas Square... but our favorites were the Toronto Islands and the University of Toronto.

The Toronto Islands are a group of islands on Lake Ontario south of the city, and from there, you have a unique view of the skyline of Toronto. On the islands, you have the opportunity to visit an amusement park, relax on the beach, or simply stroll through the park areas.

The university has a large campus with many individual complexes. To put it briefly, the university looks like it's straight out of a movie.

Apart from the tourist attractions, we also experienced things that are not typical for tourists. Among other things, we attended a football game at the University of Toronto, spent an afternoon at the swimming pool, and were lucky to spontaneously attend a concert.

Performing at the concert were various singers such as Alessia Cara, 5 seconds of summer, Anne Marie, and Shawn Mendes.

After the concert ended, we made our way towards the exit and saw a few celebrities up close, including Colton Haynes and Shawn Mendes.

Unfortunately, Kathrin missed out on some of these experiences as she spent the weekend in Germany with her family, attending her cousin's wedding. She also had a few very nice days.

But don't worry, we are all back together now because soon we will be exploring the City of Angels.
